I’m a first year student and I really struggled to sleep, which is why I bought a weighted blanket. I have found that it not only works when sleeping but if you fold it and put it on your lap while working it also helps calm my nerves. The only problem I encountered was that I don’t get the full effect of it when I put it over my duvet so I need to sleep with it under my duvet.
